Dougtionary

Hey gang! Just a brief kickoff post to the new blog. My intention is to post a new word every day for the next year. If that isn’t a big enough challenge, 2008 is a leap year, so I’m in for 366. Read more about how this got started on my “About” page.

Most of my entries will be new words, occasionally I might post a fake name or a new definition for a real word.
Either way, it’s all “fun with words”.

I’d advise you not to try this at home, but playing with words is relatively safe. Just don’t run with a new word, you might poke your eye out. Wear goggles for safety, and like any new exercise program, check with your doctor first.
