A really disgusting chunky drink that is either created naturally (i.e. past its expiration date) or created intentionally (such as spitting a loogie into someone’s drink or mixing peas into a glass of milk).
When life gives you phlegm, make phlegmonade.

Actually, it comes from phlegmons, but in the south, it’s often called snotfruit.
